A brief list of some of
our wines and craft beers:
Gewürztraminer 2011 –
Lustrous yellow color. Classic
honey-and-flowers bouquet with suggestions of roses, jasmine and orange
blossom. A fine, full-bodied wine, with the luscious, tropical fruit and
perfumed character of the grape varieties balanced by a bite of acidity.
Chardonnay 2011 – Argentina
Very fresh, lively and clean with a hint of
tropical fruit notes and a good backbone that allows it to be paired with a
myriad of dishes.
Riesling 2011 –
Classic dry Mosel Riesling with
juicy, ripe orchard fruits and a refreshing stony finish is an delectable
treat. White peaches open on a palate with choppy acidity and a clean streak of
minerals. This lip-smacking, crowd-pleasing white is best enjoyed in the great
outdoors amongst friends.
Cabrol Picpoul de Pinet
Piquepoul 2009 – France
Brilliant robe with green tints. A young floral
nose, a symphony of aromas blending citrus fruit and acacia flowers. Crisp and
harmonious on the palate with grapefruit to the fore and the freshness
characteristic of this varietal.
Le P’tit Blanc du Tue-Boeuf
Sauvignon Blanc 2011 – France
Medium-bodied, dry. A rich peachy nose with
hints of flint followed by round stone fruit and searing acidity on the palate.
The finish is lush with some honey notes but ends completely dry.
Pastou Sancerre Les Boucaults
Sauvignon Blanc 2011 – France
With fresh and inviting aromas of citrus fruits
laced with floral and mineral notes, this wine balances a rich mouthfeel with
true liveliness. That sharp acidity makes this classic Sauvignon Blanc from old
vines very easy to drink, full of nerve, mineral, and body.
Grenache 2011 – France
With a delicate salmon colour, this
mineral-drenched rose from sunny Provence shows its uncanny ability to be both
serious and quaffable. Refreshing with full fruity flavours
and good length
Chenin Blanc 2012 – South Africa
This wine is fresh, fruity and
unpretentious. A medium-bodied, yet rich white wine. Bold guava and melon
aromatics and some intriguing floral notes (from the touch of Viognier). The
refreshing acidity is balanced by a small amount of residual sugar.
Legado del Conde Albarino
Albarino 2011 – Spain
Light yellow-gold. Highly aromatic, complex bouquet
evokes pear, white peach, melon and white flowers. Round and supple in texture,
with deep honeydew and pit fruit flavors that expand with air. Finishes smooth
and sappy, with lingering peach and floral notes.
Pinot Noir 2011 – California
The Pinot Noir exhibits a rich color. The aromas
are exotic in raspberry and plum with a mix of cherry, violets, and a hint of
sandalwood. Flavorful and silky in the mouth with good body, this wine has good
texture and a lingering finish with a hint of toasted French oak.
Cabernet Sauvignon 2010 – California
Medium bodied with ripe black cherry, cassis,
cedar and tobacco flavors. Elegant and supple with a touch of licorice on the
Cabernet Sauvignon 2009 – California
Aromas and flavors of smoke and blackberry dominate
this earthy Cabernet Sauvignon. French and American oak components produce a
well-structured wine with moderate tannins and medium body.
Old Vine Zinfandel 2011
The deceptively subtle aromas of this
wine combine red and black cherry, mineral, earthy rhubarb and red fruit, with
slightly spicy characters. In the mouth, the palate is wrapped in a velvety
layered mix of sweet red cherry, strawberry, cocoa and juicy red fruit followed
by light toast and smooth, chiseled tannins, leading to a lengthy, almost
Chianti Classico 2007
Medium bodied with excellent persistence and
depth. Rich on the palate with the classic red fruit notes typical of
Vallana Campi Raudii
Nebbiolo 2011 – Italy
A beautiful black-ruby color in the glass leads to
a brooding nose of meaty black cherries, spicy cinnamon and orange peel-scented
potpourri, and limestone dust. Fleshy, velvety cherry fruit greets the palate
and is joined by plentiful, fine-grained tannins, refreshing acidity and
complex notes of cloves, cinnamon, cured meats and ferrous soils.
Carmenere 2010 – Chile
Deep red, almost black with hints of violet.
Elegant and complex on the nose, with plenty of spice, black fruit and
chocolate. With smooth tannins on the palate there is perfect integration
between oak and fruit, followed by a long and elegant finish.
Malbec 2010 – Argentina
Red color with intense
violet hints. Primarily, it shows red fruits and floral aromas. Intense, with a
great lasting and persistence in the mouth. Sweet tannins, with no drying
Cims Del Montsant
Garnacha and Carmenere blend 2010 – Spain
It has a lifted, very pretty, quite
floral bouquet of bright red fruit, strawberry pastille and blood orange that
is sensual and feminine. The palate is medium-bodied with a firm backbone, good
depth of fruit with mulberry and dark plum flavors towards the focused finish.
Primativo Quiles Cono 4
Monastrell 2010 – Spain
Monastrell made in 80 year old
Conofors (think dairy tanks but made of American Oak), this wine is filtered by
gravity and, following tradition, is made in a slighty oxidative style which
gives the wine its very unique character.
Bielsa Garnacha Vinas Viejas
Garnacha 2011 – Spain
100% Old Vine Garnacha grown in pebbly
soils. Due to the terroir of the area, the drainage is very high and thus the
wines are very concentrated. It is unoaked so shows great purity with lots of
spice and minerals.
Tempranillo 2011 – Spain
Intense dark red with purple tones
showing great freshness. An explosion of red fruit in the nose (raspberry and
cherry) with a spicy black pepper touch. Full-bodied on the palate, though
smooth and easy drinking.
Domaine Galevan Paroles de Femme
Proprietary Red Blend 2010 – France
Very elegant, with raspberry and
cherry notes intermixed with cedar and tobacco leaf is the Cotes du
Rhone-Villages Paroles de Femme (translated literally to mean “The Words of A
Woman”). This wine is well balanced, with supple tannins and a very attractive
Bordeaux 2009 – France
Fruit and spice come together in this
young wine. It is structured with a core of dry tannins along with black
currant fruit and a flavor of new wood.
Brut 2010 – California
Pale gold color with tiny bubbles.
Delicate aromas of ripe apple, toast and peach. Crisp citrus flavors with hint
of strawberries and vanilla smoke. Dry, fresh, bright with a long, elegant
Cerdon Renardat-Fache Bugey
Red/Rosé 2011 – France
Renardat is a low alcohol pink sparkler made
from Gamay and Poulsard grapes using the méthode ancestrale. Renardat is
delicate, berry-scented, refreshing, and makes a delicious aperitif or dessert
Belgian Ale – Belgium
Voted "The Best Beer in the World" over
and over! The perfect session beer. Crisp, spicy, malty, yeasty, bitter,
incredibly well balanced.
Strong Golden Ale – Portland, ME
golden hued ale is marked by passion fruit and herbal notes in the aroma, with
subtle suggestions of banana and honey surfacing from its deep and complex
palate. The Tripel's finish is remarkably long and soothing.
Belgian Style Wheat - Portland, ME
balances full flavor with a crisp, refreshing taste and subtle hints of spice.
Naturally cloudy, bottled with yeast.
India Pale Ale - San Diego, CA
Sculpin IPA is bright with aromas
of apricot, peach, mango and lemon. Its lighter body also brings out the crispness
of the hops. Just like the Sculpin fish, it has a sting but tastes great.
American Amber Ale - San Diego, CA
Calico Amber Ale is
brewed in the American Amber style. Full bodied and aromatic, it is brewed with
6 malts for deep red color and full flavor.
English-style Barleywine Ale - Easton,
Insanity is made by aging our Blithering Idiot
Barleywine Ale in whiskey barrels. The barrel aging imparts a combination of
vanilla, oak and whiskey notes. It is best served in a brandy snifter at 45-55°
India Pale Ale – Brooklyn, NY
Uses the highest-quality, floor-malted
base malt, which lends
a full-bodied and rich caramel flavor. Has a hoppy snap upfront, but strides at
a steady pace, and finishes balanced.
Thomas Jefferson Tavern Ale
English-style Strong Ale –
has recreated Thomas Jefferson Tavern ale - a strong golden ale - from
ingredients originally specified by Jefferson himself for semi-annual brewing
at his estate, Monticello.
Brewing Old Viscosity
American Dark Strong Ale
- San Marcos, CA
blended beer that mixes old and new brewing traditions into one finished beer,
Old Viscosity starts out with 80% of the beer produced from stainless steel
fermentation. It then joins another 20% Old Viscosity (from a previous batch)
that has been aging in bourbon barrels. The blend of the two beers yields
incredibly rich and luscious ale that reveals chocolate and cocoa notes melded
to silky body of burnt wood, vanilla and ash.
Irish Style Extra Stout - St. Louis, MO
full-bodied and full-flavored rich, dark ale has a malty sweetness balanced
with plenty of hops to create the perfect stout.
